SCRIP is a great fund-raising opportunity that benefits the school AND your student at ZERO out-of-pocket cost to you. 

What is Scrip? It is simply an organization through which you can purchase physical and/or on-line gift cards from a large variety of retailers. Each retailer donates to the school a percentage of the Scrip that is ordered, some as high as 12%. Half of the money “earned” is applied to your child’s tuition and half is placed in a school general fund. Come December, you might have one child’s tuition payment covered! It’s a win-win! 

You simply purchase physical gift cards at school Monday-Friday or at church between services to the places that you know you’ll be spending money. We have gift cards for the most commonly ordered retailers on hand. Otherwise, orders are placed on Monday and can be sent home with your student on Friday. 

Even easier, use your computer, tablet, or smart phone to purchase Scrip, usually in $10 increments, that can be used within a couple of minutes. You simply link your checking account to your Scrip account; when you purchase Scrip on-line, money is deducted from your checking account. That way, you purchase what you need when you need it with no stock-piling necessary. 

Planning a trip to Disney? Start buying gift cards through Scrip now. Big Amazon shopper? Purchase Amazon Scrip in increments of $25 or $100. Apply them to your account, and money is deducted from your gift card balance whenever you make an Amazon purchase. Shopping at Wal-Mart? Get on your phone and purchase Wal-Mart Scrip right before you check out. Going to purchase school clothes? Purchase some Old Navy Scrip. 

The list of retailers that participate in Scrip is 6 pages long. You can see the entire list by going to shopwithscrip.com and selecting Retailer List at the bottom of the page. Or you can pick up an order sheet in the school office to see the most commonly ordered Scrip. 

How to register to use Scrip on-line

  • Go to www.shopwithscrip.com 
  • Top right of screen, select Register 
  • Bottom left of screen, select Join A Scrip Program 
  • Enter Zion’s enrollment code: 16L12FC12L94
  • Enter your information. You do not have to enter a student name, but you can if you know of someone that you would like your earnings applied to. Half of your earnings will go to the school general fund and half will go to the student. 
  • Select Register.

  • Download the RaiseRight Ap on your phone

    • Get the app at www.RaiseRight.com on App Store or Google Play (the icon is a red and blue heart)

 

Set Up PrestoPay (links your checking account with Scrip) (You may also pay using a Credit Card.) 

  • Sign In to www.shopwithscrip.com 
  • Top middle of screen, select Dashboard 
  • Bottom of screen, select Payment Types 
  • Enter your checking account information 
  • You will receive 2 small deposits in your checking account. When you do, sign back into shopwithscrip.com, select Dashboard and PrestoPay as above. Enter your 2 deposits. You will be given a secure approval code. 
  • E-mail the approval code to our Scrip coordinator, Susie Stinson, at testinson91@yahoo.com. 
  • Susie will activate you.
