LEGO Robotics

Zion Lutheran School offers several opportunities to participate in our Lego Robotics Clubs:

First Lego League Robotics (FLL) club is for students in Grades 5 through 8. The team meets once or twice per week to solve a “real-world” problem that is set forth by the National First Lego League each school year. Students are asked to research this problem and then brainstorm solutions. They are also asked to program a Lego Mindstorm EV3 robot to run a course that is related to this problem.

First Lego League JR is for students in first through fourth grades. This team works on a project that is similar in theme to the older FLL team. We use the Lego WeDo kits to program the robots to accomplish a task in relation to the theme for the year.
